Interim Rule Changes

Posted on 07/14/202012/09/2021 By Pearse Ward

At their December 2021  Directors Meeting, the USBCHA elected not to extend the interim rules past the October 31st 2021 expiry date although trial hosts are recommended to follow local rules and regulations and to take necessary precautions. However, these are no longer required under USBCHA rules.

Concerning the reimbursement of entry fees, the USBCHA Board of Directors approved the following:

If a trial host incurs a monetary loss that he/she cannot otherwise recover because of a Covid related entry withdrawal after the trial refund date, the host may submit a request for reimbursement of that cost to the HA. Requests must include all supporting documentation related to the amount of the loss and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
