March 2022 Board of Directors Meeting

Posted on 03/12/202203/12/2022 By Pearse Ward

The USBCHA Board of Directors met March 2nd 2022. Highlights from this meeting are as follows:

  • There is a minor change to the way in which the waiting list at the National Sheepdog Finals is managed to make it more fair and easier on the Secretary.
  •  The rule requiring at least two (2) North American judges for the National Sheepdog Finals was changed back to requiring (but not limited to) only one (1) North American judge.
  • Request that trial hosts resolve all ties before sending results to the Secretary as the points system is not designed to award the same points or placings to two candidates and changing that would requires an extensive rewrite of the system.
  •  Discussion on how to handle DQ’s and reruns at the National Finals was referred back to committee for further study.
