Membership

Below is a list of current members. It is updated weekly. If unsure of your status, please check the list. If you believe there is an error, you can contact USBCHA Secretary explaining details of your perceived error. Be aware January 1 the list will show only LIFE members and members paid 2020 and beyond since all annual memberships expire 12/31 regardless of when membership was paid. You must be a current paid member in one of those categories before you go to the post to receive qualifying points from that trial.

Membership Application Information

There are three categories of membership in the USBCHA: Life, General or Associate. 
You must be a current paid member in one of those categories before you go to the post to receive qualifying points from that trial. Membership is dated based on postmark of check, date of PayPal payment or verification by a director or officer of USBCHA that payment was made in person prior to going to the post.
 
General and Associate memberships are renewed annually and run from Jan 1 thru Dec 31. All annual memberships expire Dec 31 regardless of when the membership was paid for that year. Annual dues are $25.00.
 

General Members

General Members are those who have run a dog in an Open or Nursery class in any trial sanctioned by the USBCHA within the past two years. General Members have the right to vote in elections and are eligible to qualify for the National Finals and Nursery Finals.

Life Members

Life Members are those who are eligible for General Membership, and have paid a one-time fee of $250.00. Life Members have the right to vote in elections as long as they meet the qualifications for General membership. They are eligible to qualify for the National Finals and Nursery Finals

Associate Members

Associate Members are those who, though not meeting the eligibility requirements for General Membership, are interested in being members of the Association and receiving information disseminated by it. Associate Members have no voting rights. They are eligible to qualify for the National Finals and Nursery Finals and will automatically be changed to general membership when they earn qualifying points or after informing secretary that they have met requirements for general membership.

GROUP EMAILS

The USBCHA has a group email service for members only. This is used to send out reminders, ballots and news pertinent to the membership. All such information will be posted on the website as well. If you are not currently signed up for the group email, you can either mark yes on the membership or PayPal form when joining or renewing membership or you can email the secretary at secretary@usbcha.com, indicating you wish to sign up. If you are already signed up and receiving group emails, you will be updated annually upon membership renewal and do not need to take any action.
