The USBCHA Board of Directors met Wednesday July 8th by teleconference to discuss further developments arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.
There were three interim rules added to the Association rules and applying to all sanctioned trials.
- Hosts are required to follow the local rules and regulations applying to the state in which the trial is held
- Trial hosts must provide handlers a list of safety protocols they intend to follow at the trial at the time entries open
- Trial hosts are required to refund entry fees to any handler who has symptoms of COVID-19 or believes they have been exposed to COVID-19 prior to the trial.
Members will be required to sign a liability waiver.
There will be further discussions on how to hold an AGM given that the Finals have been cancelled.
